Terms of Use
1. What Docklist is
Docklist is a marketplace that helps buyers and sellers discover and communicate about pre-owned sailing equipment. Unless a listing is explicitly marked as sold by Docklist itself, Docklist is not the seller of the item.
2. Accounts and listings
Users must provide accurate account and listing information. Sellers are responsible for describing condition, age, repairs, known damage, compatibility and other information that may affect safe use.
3. Safety
Docklist safety ratings are informational prompts, not certifications. Buyers remain responsible for determining whether equipment is suitable and safe for their intended use. Safety-critical or load-bearing equipment should be inspected by a competent professional when appropriate.
4. Prohibited conduct
Do not post stolen goods, fraudulent listings, unlawful items, deliberately misleading safety information, impersonations, malware, harassment or content that violates another person's rights.
5. Transactions
During the initial beta, buyers and sellers may arrange payment, delivery and collection directly unless an integrated checkout is explicitly offered. Any later protected-payment service will have additional transaction terms.
6. Reports and moderation
Docklist may investigate reports, remove listings, restrict accounts or preserve information where reasonably necessary to protect users or comply with law.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Docklist does not guarantee the condition, legality, authenticity, compatibility or safety of user-listed goods. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Contact
Before launch, replace this section with Docklist's legal entity name, registered address and support email.
