Privacy Notice

Public beta draft · last updated 29 August 2026

Before public launch, add the actual legal entity/controller details, retention periods, processors and contact address.

Information we use

Docklist may process account details, profile information, listings, messages, favorites, reports, uploaded images, basic security logs and transaction information if payments are later enabled.

Why we use it

We use data to operate accounts and listings, connect buyers and sellers, prevent abuse, answer support requests, comply with legal duties and improve the service.

Public information

Listing information and selected seller-profile information can be visible publicly. Private messages are intended only for conversation participants and authorized moderation or legal processes where necessary.

Service providers

The launch build is designed to use Supabase for authentication, database and image storage. Hosting, email, analytics, payments and shipping providers should be added here once chosen.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, users may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or export personal data and to object to certain processing. A working privacy contact must be provided before public launch.

Security

Docklist uses access controls and database row-level security in the supplied launch architecture. No online service can promise absolute security.

Delete your account

Signed-in users can permanently delete their Docklist account from their profile page. Account deletion removes the profile and associated marketplace data according to Docklist's database relationships. Some records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations or dispute handling.
